Ahead of Wednesday’s friendly games against Turkey, 23 members of the 28-man Czech squad gathered at Prague’s Hotel Praha on Sunday. The five missing players – Tomas Jun, Marek Jankulovski, Vaclav Sverkos, David Jarolim, and Jaroslav Plasil – were all involved in Saturday evening games, and were set to join their team-mates later. The Czech squad will train at Sparta’s Toyota Arena (Letna) stadium this afternoon, attend the “Footballer of the Year” award ceremony tonight, then fly to Turkey on Tuesday morning.
