Most observers of football other than a Czech or Italian would favor Italy over Czech. European cup and world cup are NOT the same ask Portugal in 2002. Czech has to bring their A game if they expect to beat Ghana and USA and be competitive with Italy . Like the Czech coach said there are no "push overs" he knows what he is talking about. I do expect Czech to go to the 2nd round, then loose to Brasil because I expect Italy to win the group. They have world class players but didn't qualify for 98 or 2002 world cup. Nedved is a great player but he dives too much and is getting slow. Italy has Luca Toni, Alberto Gillardino, Totti, Delpiero, Andrea Pirlo, plus the best keeper in the world Buffon not to mention their stingy defence. Only Brasil has a more complete team than Italy. No one on the world cup stage are push overs anymore Czech will have to play great football to make it to the 2nd round...... Czech is NOT better than Italy.
