Just read the article in the NY Times…

The yanks are so up themselves – they deserve to loose ALL their games – just to shut them up; so we don’t have to hear there drivel !!

If the yanks get a draw they should be happy with that result, because a win is so far beyond them – their rating is overstated by about 20 places !!

Go get ‘em Czech – (kick their arse) don’t even let ‘em get a sniff of making it through the group stage.

The US might want to follow the Rooney sentiment Whaaaaaaaa……
America…. start booking your trip home.

Get a life…Tom from Australia…. Focus on your own country or at least a descent team….Is that the best you have to offer? Hoping that Czech can take care of the USA…Maybe Italy…But, just because you know America is the place to be…You don’t have to Hate us so much…What has the USA soccer team done to you to deserve such criticism? With your attitude please don’t do us any favor and visit America…Stay with your Kangaroo….This is Soccer blog at it’s best….Go USA!!!

Ivan…. you “delusional patriot”. President Bush, Cheney et al. would be proud of you mate; and your blind, unquestioning faith !

I have nothing against the US team players, just supporters like you, talking thru your arse

Post a reply back (on this Group E blog) after the June 12th game; if you don’t get distracted.

P.s The “get a life” thing – just bought 200 acres of prime Tasmania, setting up our olive orchard in couple months, already building my own straw-bale house, earth oven, setting-up a bamboo cooperative, Food Forest (+100 different edible fruit/nut species) already established plus; no need to buy vegetables ever again.

We catch/store and provide all our own water needs for washing/shower/irrigation, recycled back through a grey water system, we’ll be selling electricity back to the energy grid when the solar panels go up this year – we’ll be totally self sufficient in 2 yrs – no bills !!

I consult free of charge if you’d like some advice on how silly it is to be in debt – how many credit cards are you avoiding paying off dude, do you even know how to boil an egg ?????

Anyway Ivan, have a nice day :) would you like to predict a score for the US vs Czech game ?

@Tomintaz. Stop talking about Tasmanian mate, it’s making me crave a James Boags (the worlds finest lager). Can’t get them here in Atlanta, GA and the last time I tasted the amber liquid was about 2 years ago….damn.

I think the US will have a bloody hard time getting out of their group. But just like us, we will have a tough time getting out of our group too. Though, I think we have a better chance than the US.

This “age” factor has been discussed all along in analysing the Czech team. I’m more worried about injuries; being the last World Cup most likely for some of these players, will probably see every effort possible to have a successful appearance.

I’m writing from the USA; like our National Team, but it is a tough group. There are high expectations for both Italy and the Czech Republic. This does not bode well for the USA.

Ivan don’t act like a typical American that can’t take losing. You have a cheese team that ain’t going nowhere. Accept this and shut up. Too many of you big mouths make your Country look like idiots. You clowns don’t like the game to begin with. It doesn’t run scores up enough for you. Anyways stfu….thanks

Typical yanks and their overrated national team. Not only do they always attempt to bash their opponents prior a match, but to make matters worse, we get ignorant yanksters running their mouths on the internet as well. Stick to baseball.

Excuse me Kelvin, but last I checked, Canada hadn’t won any World Cups, either.

And Paul, the US hasn’t lost anything yet. I don’t expect them to get out of the group of death, but I’ll be elated if they do, and given Australia’s draw, they’d be a shoo-in to move on.

I guess I shouldn’t begrudge you Australians your unprovoked World Cup smack-talk, though, you haven’t had a chance to do it since 1974 :P

I think Americans are too confident, but its just only their problem. It will be very difficult explain your lose to your fans if you will lose.

Grow up eevrybody, this is about football not whose country is better! I live in the US and I love it, but I am Italian all the way..and I hope that Italy and Czech make it to the second round only because I want to see better quality football (not soccer) in the later rounds! Forza Azzurri!!!
