Promises, promises

More from PragueTV:

After meeting with Franz Beckenbauer in Prague (see here), Czech Prime Minister Jiri Paroubek announced that the government would put 1 billion crowns towards the building of a new national football stadium. [Bear in mind, however, that Paroubek probably won't win next year's general election.] According to Czech football association (CMFS) chairman Pavel Mokry, building a new 47,000-capacity stadium will cost more than 3 billion crowns.

It’s easy to make promises you have no intentions of keeping.
