Nedved Injured!

The rising number of injuries in the Czech world cup squad is turning the dressing room into a casualty ward. At Euro 2004 , the Czechs dazzled the world with their fearless and attacking style and the same was expected from them this time too. The recent spate of injuries to key components of the Czech Goal-getting machine is depressing. Smicer is out, Rosicky and Koller are recovering from injuries , Baros is battling to regain fitness , now Nedved is suffering a dodgy knee. May God protect those players currently fit and speed up the convalescence of injured players. I am hoping the Czechs play well and prosper at this World Cup.

Hmmmm… this could just be speculation from the point of the USA [based magazine]; wishful thinkin’ maybe???? – being that the story hasn’t broke anywhere else.

The way I understand things are:

* 1: They [Group E] hope Nedved is injured.

* 2: If his injured knee “is the one that was operated on a while back” this be a real set-back.

* 3: Can Czech strategy be mind games ??

The college boys have grown up and Jun 12, 2006 is payback day!
As Nedved legs ache, he sees himself at age 24 running wild on the pitch in the US #21 shirt. Koller, in a daze asks where does that #22 bus come from that keeps knocking him on his backside. And Petr Cech just might learn a thing from the guy he’ll be looking at across the pitch (ask Romario.) Monday, a day of days.
