Birmingham manager Steve Bruce has said that recent addition Martin Latka, on loan from Slavia Praha, may face a baptism by fire as they face Liverpool, and the return of Robbie Fowler on Wednesday at Anfield. Latka is a U-21 Czech International so look for him to play one of the friendlies against Turkey as well. If he does well at Birmingham, might he have a place at central defense on the team that takes the field in Germany? There’s a lot of time before the World Cup starts and anything can happen.
