FIFA Creates Confusion, Chaos

Geez, that’s hardly news, now is it? However, the Czech Football Association is looking to ameliorate the situation somewhat. From PragueTV, here’s some news you can use if you’re in the Czech Republic and have ticket issues.

CMFS RESPONDS TO FIFA TICKET WARNINGS
With just over six weeks to go before the World Cup begins, FIFA president Sepp Blatter is warning that there might be problems for holders of “transferred” tickets, bought for them by a friend or relative. The tournament organizers have demanded that all ticket-holders show ID before entering World Cup stadiums, proving that their name matches the name on their ticket. Blatter, however, has urged flexibility on this issue to avoid chaos outside stadiums.

Responding to Blatter’s appeal, the Czech football association (CMFS) are offering Czech holders of transferred tickets the chance to request changes to their personal info. This can be done via the CMFS website (http://www.fotbal.cz/) from 10am on May 2nd until 12 noon on May 4th. There will be no extra charge for any changes made.
