Petr Cech has been named 2005 Czech Footballer of the Year. Not bad for a goalie, which some might argue is not a footballer at all. (Don’t look at me - I’d never say such a silly thing.)

If you go to the BBC boards, all they do is bitch about Cech, saying that his defense saves him. We’ll find out this summer, no?
